Trade Hayes and Zib. I'm done with both of them - mdw7413
Too bad NYI/NYR will never make a serious trade. Zibanejad would be a perfect fit for the 2nd line here. |

Zib for Wahlstrom, get it done
Edit: Not sure you guys would want Zib now, You have a defensive structure under Trotz. Zib no do defense |

Get your hands off our good low-IQ boy Wahlstrom
It's a moot point, but Zibanejad might be able to score some goals with Barzal drawing most of the heat. Isles are right around the bottom-third of the league in GF/GP, so some offensive help would help. If Trotz can help the Islanders, as a team, go from the biggest defensive abortion to a solid, cohesive unit then I'd have faith he could wring some defense out of Travelbanejad |

Yeah, he isn't a bad player, but not as a #1. Probably would be best suited as a 2nd liner. Cant put him any lower because he doesn't play defense. With Howden, Andersson, Chytil... no need for Zib or Hayes. Once we draft Hughes then center depth is looking good. |

The US Under 18 team played Michigan on Friday, and won the game. Some serious talent on that US team (led by Hughes). |

Sell everyone and draft whoever is eligible!
On a serious note is Hughes really a special player? I mean is it evident watching him. I have only seen a game or 2 where he played. |

I think Greek Pete means Quinn Hughes. But Jack is probably not going to be in that Auston Matthews/Eichel-type tier, but he's gonna be good. |

Oh sorry, I totally misread what he said. I thought he was talking about UMichigan.
Yes, Jack. But I still think the consensus (that I've seen, to date) is that he'll be a high-end player, but maybe not have that superstar quality that some other top picks have. Seems doubtful he'll be in at the Pajamaboy/Matthews/Eichel level, but probably not far behind. |

As long as he is a true #1 in the top 10 I will be happy, if we are lucky enough to draft him. Haven't had one of those in forever. He is a bit on the svelte side though. I think thats what K'Andre is for though. All part of the master plan. |

I think he'll be a #1 center for sure, just not a superstar. Miller has had a nice start to the season, production-wise, from what I can see.
Only mentioning it because I know you guys talked about drafting him a lot...Bode Wilde is killing the OHL offensively so far. 3g-11pts in 8GP, second overall in scoring for a defenseman (and only 1pt behind the leader who has played two more games than Bode)

Why did he fall so far? I know a lot of drafts had him in the top 20. He might be ready for you guys once Boychuk's contract is up in 2035. |
