Sometimes a break is better. Just hope it’s not a knee. Not a pretty fall - jchst22
It looked like his ankle from what I saw. Agree on the break. |

I'm not buying the concussion story with Murray. The Pens have been very cautious with concussions in recent years, yet Murray was taking shots two days after he supposedly was concussed. It's not believable.
The last time Crosby was "concussed", it didn't takes very long for him to come back. I guess they are extra cautious with concussions and take the player out as precaution rather than risk serious injury. |

I liked the Pens 1st and 3rd periods last night. The 2nd was an abomination and why they lost. Just a pathetic effort in that 2nd period that resulted in the Habs scoring 3 straight.
Shootouts are crap shots and I don't like them after 2 teams battle hard it comes down to individual breakaways. I didn't even watch it.
Taking the road point and moving on. |

So Sprong had a total of 4 shifts after the 1st period? Does the kid have a future with this team? It’s not as if there’s a short list of others playing sloppy and taking bad penalties. |

Simon didn't get many more. It would be kind of difficult to blame them two for last nights effort. |

Crutches and a walking boot is all I can find regarding him after the injury... I'm going to hope for one of those high ankle sprains and not a break. - Guile
My initial diagnosis was a high ankle sprain. Though I haven't got my medical degree yet. No Maatta, he is going to be out a while.
Anytime you go down a D that early in the game it is going to take a huge effort from the remaining five to win at the NHL level. A little help from the forwards would have been nice.
(Did you see what I did there, kept in touch with the initial theme?) |

Possibly syndesmosis. I'm sure he'll get Jack of all the rehab but as you said it doesn't Maatta. Jusso have to be patient I suppose. |

Looks like to get anywhere you have to average about 450 & win every week. - Aussiepenguin
Winning is nice for ego and our standings but not that important for playoff qualifications, as 26 division winners and 102 wildcards (highest fantasy{?} points) will receive a spot... but definitely, scoring high regularly is a must when you want to gain ground... at least this was accomplished this week. |

We are already working hard behind the scenes to find reasons to subtract you at least 100 of them...

Great give a 3rd line winger who cant skate 5m. And a 30 year old defenceman who doesn't play defense. I already hate these contracts. Buckle up |

Haha I rarely watch shootouts. Have always been against them. I see absolutely nothing wrong with two teams receiving a tie point each because they couldnt get it done against each other as a team. |

I’m at 490 so far which is a vast improvement from my last week. I’m hoping to be closer to the high 500s by the end of the day |
