you could have Ennis instead...looks really quick - falls down alot - gets knocked off the puck at least twice a shift...

Matthews has been the best player on the ice.
Sloppy in both ends but Leafs look like the better team through one.
If they keep playing like this they should come out on top.

lol ennis is too weak on the puck to be a bottom 6 guy but not skilled enough to keep up with the top 6 long-term

I don't think Goat is that slow to be honest. I think he thinks slow so he's half a step behind the play. His footspeed is fast enough to keep pace with the game now. He's improved a lot in that regard.

Brown really has to step up his game..
He's been very disappointing so far this season.

i haven't looked, but i guess he's getting 2-4mins less icetime this season than last year.. tough to deliver with only a few minutes. that's the biggest issue for the leafs i think - in particular for guys like Brown, Kadri etc. that are now playing lesser roles
