Carolina or Flyers
- VANTEL

Flyers are thin on D, Carolina makes more sense. I was just reading a piece about Dougie Hamilton, Slavin commented about him being out on the ice for God

Apparently he's very religious.

2 years max for Edler. Might have to pay a bit more. He also loves Van, he might work off a year to year basis. Hamhuis took two years for less money and then another two years for even less money.

We nee to move on from Edler IMO.

Hughes goes from collage to top pairing? Bold
- Pres.cup

If he signed here, he’d already be in the top 4

Top 4 to top pairing

Not so bold

Dude... go to a political thread if you care so much.
- NorthNuck

I understand your distaste for the political debate, or talk of beer, wine, food, music, art, travel, religion etc. This is a place for hockey. But all these other things are part of society, and the reason why so many people find them (especially politics and religion) annoying or awkward is that for the past several generations (if ever) we have not learned how to have a rational discussion about them. Strong opinions result in rash actions.

I would be happy to fill a couple dozen pages on why Gaunce is better than Sutter and Beagle if you would prefer

And you will note I did not participate in the political debate, because out of respect for others I try and limit my non-hockey posts to a minimum - but I did crack wise to minivan about the impending birth of his first child, which is not about hockey.

So was Hamhuis and Booth. They still seemed well liked by teammates.

Maybe Dougie’s one of those really judgemental religious types who refuses to even hang out with non-religious people

I didn't want to insinuate there's anything wrong with it, I was just surprised by it.

Slavin was saying if Dougie wants to go to the museum I'll go with him, he said if he wants to go for a beer I'll go there too, he doesn't drink but they'll do whatever to help him bond with the team.

Very possible as he could help a PO team for sure. But the culture of this club is changing a little more rapidly now probably just time to let go. We got good return for Burrows/Hansen we'd get a decent return for Edler at TDL.

Tanev and Hutton to the Leafs for Nylander should work too lol

Game day, any tweets from morning skate? Is Rous in tonight? 3 mil for a first line winger is a pretty good bargain

To start the season playing more then 20 minutes a night?

Start him with o zone starts and lots of pp time, that's putting him in a pain to succeed. Give edler the D zone starts.
