2 years max for Edler. Might have to pay a bit more. He also loves Van, he might work off a year to year basis. Hamhuis took two years for less money and then another two years for even less money.

5-6 of his caliber would be normal next year. The cap has gone up so much and salaries are going up with it. Just something most aren't getting used to around here. To get someone for a million and that player be good is just poop luck now a days.

McDonagh 30 next season when his 6.75 kicks in. Ekman Larsson 8.25. Doughty 11 million.

Sautner, Brisebois, McEnemy might be cheaper but I don't any of them will be any better then DP, Hutton, Biega, MDZ. Just cheaper. Van isn't going to be in a cap troubles for probably 2-3 when EP, Hughes need new contracts.

Hughes and OJ and a bottome pairing Dman . Edler has trouble adapting IMO . Don't get me wrong I think he is a very good Dman but maybe like the Sedins it is time for a new look.

If Canucks are not ready to go to the next level then should be drafting high.

nope. Doctor kept us in the hospital for 14 hours that day. "For sure" baby was coming they said. Now wife hasn't shown any signs of it coming since. Went to the doctor yesterday and the doctor was talking about inducing her after on the 25th. 10 days after due date.

Something about living in there the kids seem to like because her daughter was due August 26th and came out Sept 18th.
