I know who would have settled the score, Kristoffer Gunnarsson. He would have stuck up for his teammate.

So you are talking about players that play a support role that play 10 minutes a game or less like Chris Thorburn? Peluso? Mcleod? Reaves, Rinaldo? That's a real waste of a player to have on the team.

That’s quite the mixed bag of talents you’ve posted. I’m not clear on what you are saying. I want someone on the Canucks to knock out teeth if needed. I don’t want one of our leading point getters having to do it themselves.

Canucks have wasted so many rosters spots on players who contribute nothing to this team. It would have been encouraging to see one of those non-wasted players we have now step up and do something.

It was a dirty play. You can see Matheson put his stick between Pettersson’s leg and do a can opener before throwing him down. Pettersson had no way of defending himself when his legs are taken out from under him like that.

The initial hit was fine it's what occurred after that was the dirt. WWE style takedown with the intent to injure. Many on here are trying to find ways around it lol...'he's skinny', 'he's 19', 'he's 165 lbs'...bottom line was Matheson was made to look like an idiot on a few plays by Pettersson and he chose to do something dirty. It is what it is. Yes we get the 'welcome to the NHL factor' and 'star players are gonna get hit' but I guarantee you if that was Buston Matthews, Matheson would have been suspended for 10 games by the end of last night. But it the Canucks so nothing will be done from the league.

The lack of push back in that game was the most embarrassing. Schaller, Rousell, Guddy...unless they were told by Green to back off and save the two points which sounds like it may have been the case.

If Pettersson is out 4-6 weeks the musical programming will change around here a bit lol

Dorsette had his fair share of haters for some reason. He would have turned the hit dial up to 12 after that cheapo on EP and actually played quality shifts regardless of any hit anyways. I respected him.
