I agree that the leaf powerplay has all the ingredients to be successful, Marner an elite playmaker, Mathews and Tavares elite finishers, Kadri a really nice net presence and Rielly with excellent mobility, smarts and a great shot. Go Leafs and leave Kapanen with Mathews and trade Nylander to the Oilers for Bouchard and Nurse. Done deal.

Born and raised a leafs fan, love the team and talent. BUT all this hype about points is only because of that ridiculous number #1 powerplay. Has obviously boosted points for both Matthew's and Reilly. Not saying it's a negative but Babcock stacking that # 1 Powerplay unit and leaving the 2nd... well, meh... definently shows. But hopefully nylander can help out that #2 Powerplay when he comes back because it's brutal.

But to compare Matthews 0.96 PPG to Connors 1.22 career with Matthews being on a top 5 offensive team is just crazy. McDavid would score 130 points playing on the Leafs and Matthews might never see 80 on the Oilers. Should get you a poop load of clicks tho.
