First goal of the Flyers season and the 2nd and 3rd goals in Ottawa just off the top of my head. Some of the defensive miscues are obvious, and he hasn't actually scored like Hagg has, so of course he's playing like poop right? No sir. Notice the first guy to touch the puck for the Flyers on both of these goals.
Made several aggressive neutral zone plays too. The entire team is playing terrible defense right now, but Sanheim has been fine. - YuenglingJagr
Dude seriously? a chip off the wall from behind the net....Nice move in the corner but there wasn't much there bud.

Every little mistake? The kid has been horrible lmao. You send one bad play of Hagg and think you are right, you are a fool. Send some GIFs of Sanheims good plays this season... I'll wait. Hagg has been solid and already has a couple goals. I like Sanheim but he needs to pick it up. - ClaudeFather
You are the reason he doesn't post that much on here anymore
Notwithstanding, Laughton has taken great steps forward this season. Offensive confidence is at a respectable level and he's matured as a PKer too imo. Last night he was hungry for a puck in the corner (I know we're not allowed to do that. Gotta stay in the box), beeline to it, beat 2 Sens there, and backhanded it between the points. Decisive, assertive, and executed. It was refreshing. Hope he keeps it up. - Giroux_Is_God
So when we watch Laughton and Raffl play aggressively on the puck on the PK,.are they violating coaches orders and should they have their ice time reduced because of that?
The Flyers team structure in the defensive zone has been dysfunctional to put it kindly. Not exactly the environment to assess the play of a young defenseman. - MJL
Our Dzone has been a mess, i think a big part of that though is we have three D in Sanheim, Andy Mac, and Provorov not playing up to their abilities and for that matter not close in my opinion. Very early in the season but they need to get going, that's all. I still think highly of all but one and I think you know who the one is.

The team doctors will say pain killers will heal Konecny, but the real doctors know Zoloft will truly heal him.

On a team where half the defensemen usually just throw the puck out to center ice, it was actually pretty awesome and both times (with the help of smart plays by Gudas) put the Sens immediately on their heels and resulted in a goal. Nice when a guy isn't trying to generate defense

Sanheim made a great feather pass to Konecny springing his breakaway where he hit the post last night.
His first appearance on the PK against the Sharks he was 2/2 on clears on that shift. One was a puck wrapped down low where he intercepted it in the trapezoid and sent it out through the middle if I remember right. Second one I can't remember the specifics.
Lindblom's goal against the Avs was a 3-2 where Gudas poked the puck to the the defensive blueline where Patrick was, who hit a rushing Sanhiem, who carried the puck through the NZ with speed and dished to Lindblom after he gained the blueline.
On the other hand, I remember on one of the first shifts of the season Hagg went for a hit in front of the LV bench and caused a semi breakaway because the guy dished it off to a streaking forward who beat AMac because he's bad and was out of position.
I also remember our old friend Bellemare getting a glorious chance in that game because hagg went for a hit behind the net, leaving him open. Again, AMac was out of position- didn't help matters.
I remember laughing at Hagg when he passed into our own change risking a bench minor. Teammates all dodged the puck and possession lost. This was against the Avs I think.
First goal of the Sharks game Coots was left alone defending a "2-1" where the player with the puck was in Gretzky's office and there was guy in front. Where were AMac and Hagg you ask? The collided and were on the other side of the net near the goal line/trapezoid area.

Provorov and MacDonald are veterans. They deserve criticism for their level of play this season so far but Sanheim is a kid and with the situation, he has been okay. Have to look at all variables.

Lol.
I can’t have my boy out long. If given the proper minutes and linemates he is Arvidsson 2.0
Don’t take him from me. - flyer_nutter
Hopefully it’s short time if anything . Maybe he’s just being the bestest friend and not letting his best friend miss some time alone.

"(sigh) Everybody has their ups and down during the year. I don't think he's been that bad, there's been a couple of things but you can say that about every player. For some reason with Mac it seems to always to get highlighted.
Umm, but everybody's got something going on right now. There's very few guys who get thru training camp that something didn't go on, or something in the summer, or something that they're dealing with from last season, so....
The Hak hate is strong there. It’s a beautiful thing. Do you notice some of the angst starting toward Hextall? Interesting to see, and can’t say it isn’t unwarranted.
We’ve got our own deadhead here. - flyer_nutter
Except I can't mute him.
The hextall angst is I believe unwarranted at this point. I can't poop on Hexy for liking Knight. If anything, it just reduces Weise's playing time. I think his player assignment decisions have been sound, but I do believe he messed up with Morin. Unfortunately it leaves us extra bitter because of the injury he gets in the AHL where he may or may not have had any business playing in.

Morin's major injury happened in the AHL playoffs after the Flyers season was over. Lindblom and Sanheim were also playing at that point.

It’s highlihted because as an organization you willingly chose to have him be the mentor for your kids for years. You’ve cut the ice time of better players, and continued to trot out Mr Reliable.

Hextall knows that In a short time, MacDonald will be back to being the solid, reliable, veteran defenseman he has always been.

Ah, that is true. Good call
Even so, I still think he made the wrong call there. Was it devastating? No, but I think he could have served the Flyers well. But again, I can understand it, and that's all that I can ask.
Which is why Hak annoys me, because many times you can't understand wtf he's (frank)ing doing
not to mention Hagg's goals were a) a goalie goal and b) a lucky bounce right to him with a yawning cage for the slam dunk.
I'm not taking anything away from him saying this. But it's just something to consider. He could very easily have no goals if a goalie made a routine save and if he wasn't johnny on the spot
I expect the usual garbage hockeybuzz response from ClaudeFather. OP delivered like he asked, but he'll probably call me out for not posting gifs or videos or for remembering something slightly wrong.
