On draft night, didn't they show a bunch of football highlights for him, or I am remembering that wrong?

Nope, you are right. Thats why I was laughing. The clips were of him as a linebacker. |

It's gonna seem like a real longtime waiting for these kids, especially with where this year seems like it's heading.

Yeah. How does it work with college players? I'm guessing they can leave at any time? Not that I would want them to step into this dumpster fire right now, but I guess if the NHL team that drafted them wants them bad enough, they can leave. |

So much of the hockey world is about relationships, and I can't see any organization trying to get a player that committed to play the season in college to leave. That would pretty much burn any bridge between the college and the organization. Nor would I think highly of a kid for doing it, since it pretty much leaves their team in the lurch.

Yeah, I didn't mean mid season or anything, but I'm guessing they don't have to do the full 4 years? |

Nice response to someone bustin' your chops!!
Great quote from the captain of my slo-pitch team from earlier this season (yes, we are STILL playing!!):
"I think it's more fun to win periodically!"
We are the oldest team in the league by a good 15 years on average. - Tonybere
Captain of a slo pitch team? Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat?????? |

If we are going all in on accountability Georgiev should sit tonight...have the emergency 3rd goalie dress and sit the bench and tell Georgiev to watch from the stands with his pads in a bad sitting in the hallway |

I mean we have been competitive, every game has been a one goal game late in the third so far
So why not get some luck and wins.
I just hate losing, while getting a better pick and maybe getting lucky in the draft is great for the future....I am not patient enough for that.
Just want to win - TPC
