We still need to solve tbe backup goalie crisis.

And Gritty is getting more likes than Carlton on Instagram.

I think we need to give sparks another game or two.

I think I'm happiest tonight about the 4th line.

That's kind of demented isn't it?

I've been pleasantly surprised with Gauthier, Marincin and Hainsey over the last two games (sans Seguin goal, and I know they didn't all play both), all the while conceding 10 goals. I'm not sure what that means about them.

Carlton needs to look more ferocious. They should put some fake blood around his mouth. And give him a gun.

Hainsey was on the ice for 4 goals tonight brah.

He's a 3rd pairing PK guy at this point in his career.

I've never endorsed trading him... But how do you not watch this games and think a.) how little they need Willie and b.) how badly they need the defensive upgrade they could probably get in return.
- joel878

For me (imo) it's just Nylander is a known commodity. I dont know if Kapanen can keep this up or if that 4th line can actually play like they did tonight. I also feel a bit sorry for Naz in the offense department.

I just don't think 1 dman makes too much difference to this team. In fact, in my opinion, if the forwards played better D, that would be the biggest upgrade we could make.

Kadri to me has actually looked pretty good in the offensive zone he's just playing with grinders.

Man, Karlsson is playing some exceptionally bad hockey for San Jose so far this season.

Still can't play defense.

- GreatGigInTheSky

8-2 Sharks.

2 assists, +2, 4 hits.

He's just "a guy" to me...have no idea what he does or can do or is good at. Johnsson with some confidence back is twice the player.

Kapanen has wheels and just has to dig out some pucks to Matthews, but he was a PPG player at age 20 in the AHL, so he's not out of his element here.

I don't see why this isn't unsustainable playing with one of the best players in the world (and no slouch in Marleau either, who really just needs to play a safe straight ahead game to be effect at his age).

Getting chances, but shooting it like Blake...right in the gut.
