I get what you are saying, but EVERY goalie and EVERY team has these moments, tonight the Flyers didn't respond...especially after providing some solid big saves (stacking pads across net, the countless 3-4 shots in a row in the slot where the Flyers couldn't clear the puck). Is Elliott an all-star, hell no, but you can't even expect an all-star to stop constant odd man rushes all night.

If Elliott was bad tonight, wait until everyone gets disappointed when Hart has to face games like this, let's hope he doesn't become a Blaine Lacher.

Exactly, he lost me when he traded Schenn and then keeps Haktsol the worst coach in the nhl Really Hakstol lost me two years ago and this year I just can not watch this man (frank) up a good bunch of players. He has ruined Konecny and has no clue how to get the most out of his players.

Simmonds is meh as well. All this talk about how tough he is. He stands in front of the net.

I truly can’t remember the last time he fought - which I don’t really care about, but more so the last time he was a real physical/dominating presence in a game.

Agreed. Simmonds should be traded to some sucker team that does not know what they are getting. If he fights he gets hurt, his style of play has taken a toll on his body and he just is not up to it anymore. Don't get me wrong, Simmonds has had his day and he was always a fav.
