Sadly, Weise will probably get dressed after a game like this because Hak logic. - hereticpride
Tragically you are so correct. Over/under on Hak commenting on Weise's "sandpaper?" |

I think more than likely you see Folin in for Sanheim.
Kid played crappy but he needs to be allowed to play through the bumps imo. |

I can see Elliott losing his poop at Hak. This is on par with what Tremblay did to Roy. Haha - Hextall271
I don’t understand at all why he was left in....even to start the third period. Nothing like embarrassing your #1. |

Just here wondering if MJL still defends AMac.
That stubborn narcissistic coot still probably does.
Cheers. |

I do.
The first 2 goals were trash. The team never recovered after that.
If you don't think that moment saves matter you need to watch more elite goalies when their teams win. - ggunky
You mean the biggest moment in the game when Coot had an open net so big Freakyfly could of jumped in holding the puck in his teeth then hit the crossbar....
Yeah that would of been the changing point in the game to bounce back from the poor team performance. |

Who cares if Elliot was left in seriously. He sucked and the whole team sucked. They skaters have to stay in the game.
Pickard doesn’t need to come into his first career flyers game where the team is getting manhandled in every area of the ice.

Why don’t you pull your goalie after the first. Put the back up in to see if he can spark the team. Then Elliott can play tomorrow relatively rested. Instead, you leave him in to be hung out to dry? |

Of course they can. Clunkers like this happen. It was a complete team flop.
Hit the showers, pack the bags, and get ready for tomorrow. - Scoob
It was and they will right the ship.
It's frustrating that, everytime you expect them to take the next step, it's just a wet fart. |

I'd say the move needs to happen in order to send a message to the rest of the team but sadly I think these players are numb to it at this point. |

By the way, I am not putting this on the goalie. This was a team wide lose.
However, if he comes up with a save on that first goal, perhaps things are different.
You know how it is, momentum is a real thing. They Flyers were dominating then SJ comes down and goal against. After that the Flyers never recovered. That was a save he NEEDED to make. |

I think throwing Pickard in a tire fire of a first game as a Flyer wasn’t a good idea either. Elliott put them in a hole and even though the team gave up after the first 2, he owns that game. |

the leaders don’t lead. another slow awful start by Giroux and V. the defense is a dumpster fire. the coach...i mean come. on.
this is how they play in their first home game since the 8-5 blowout be pitt last year to get knocked out.

No, I predict that it'll be some whiny nonsense about how the home crowd stresses them out somehow.
