Might go count my cut fingernail collection. More exciting than the flyers right now. - bird_dog_pa
Still better than baseball. I switched over to see if the Yankees were winning and nearly fell asleep. |

Canes fun to watch! And their coach is so fit he would knockout Hak with his little finger. |

That is the tough thing. We are all fans but this team is arguably one of the most boring in the league for a while. Very Vanilla in many aspects.
One game. See what they do the next one. Really hope HexHak don’t bench Sanheim and we see Folin back in his spot. |

Why now is Elliot still in net ? Are they trying to see how long it will take to see him get hurt ? |

The season is over. - Glak18
Never said season is over, I am just saying this is a mediocre team. Anyone who can't see that is blind.
We have an average goalie, below average defense (especially in their own end). Special teams that are not very special. Offense that is either hot or cold, but very inconsistent and a coach who at many times seems to be in way over his head.
13 goals against in less then 3 games already is not a great start. |

I can NOT believe Hakstol left Elliott in this game.
....and is leaving him in this game.
At this point its not fair to Elliott. He should have been out after the first period. Its not good to embarrass your veteran goalie like this regardless of how he has performed, its up to the coach to protect his players sometimes. |

The realization is that this is just a mediocre team from top to bottom. We have some nice young talent, but we have just way to many mediocre to below mediocre players and the depth to go along with it. - Buzzo
Real simple it is coaching and upper management, like Hextall to be exact. As a former goaltender he should know better, but he is stubborn to the point of losing to prove his point, and that is why I am done with this team, so happy to be moving on |

I have bad news for you boyz, Karlsson(2) will start his sharkscoring today and Meier will add a tally... 4-2 Sharks. - VeryModernMan

Yet god (frank)ing awful Gudas seems to be the ice all night....he’s just as brutal as he was against the Pens last year in the playoffs. - landros 2
Dude...he was horrific against the Pens. He's been solid these two games. He's moved the puck well...no stupid penalties...respectfully disagree.

I heard that during the second intermission Hakstol said "You want to cry about a couple bruises? I'll give you something go cry about. You're going back in." |

There are going to be games like this. It’s game three so not overly concerned.
It’s their home opener so would be nice to be more competitive. |
