Gudas had 1 bad game in the playoffs - the last one. Every other Dman was worse through out the series. He hasn't been bad thing game either. I personally don't care if is a young kid or old vet. I just want the best D in order to win out there.

Remember last year? We got massacred early on vs the west and then went on a tear. We don't march up well with most of the west. They better show up vs Ottawa tomorrow. Some variation of a 2 and 8 start again is inexcusable.

The realization is that this is just a mediocre team from top to bottom. We have some nice young talent, but we have just way to many mediocre to below mediocre players and the depth to go along with it.

The playoffs last year showed me what we have. Good core of forwards that can get it done but average d and tending. The tending especially won't get it done.

Love jvr but until this gets sorted it's a borderline playoff team.
