Is that not due to his play in part?

I can't imagine that's the case if he tore it up in preseason and was dominating games? He's just been, dare I say, invisible. He has the talent to bust out at any minute though.

Why they should jump start him on the PP.

Well the end wasn’t the best... but still a good game. Wish they would learn to keep the foot on the gas a little more in the 3rd... but maybe Phile wanted them to work on the d-zone play knowing they had 3 in the bank. (Don’t know)

I think he's baking in the AHL right now.

Side note: I want to give him some time, but Casey didn't really impress in preseason. Think maybe he should have started in Roch?

- gcomella34

He's looked fine and unspectacular. Not screwing up. He has an assist, too

He needs experience, that's all

yeah...his play in the preseason wasn't very good and Housley went with Berglund as the no. 2 center...and rightfully so

It’s not hype. Dude can play. Very underrated. Put him on the Mittelstadt line, I don’t care who plays center.

I would love to see Erod with Mitts but I find it hard to break up that line right now the way they are playing. If Mitts’ line can get going though watch out. I agree with the sentiment of needing one more top 9 winger for that line. Maybe Sobotka can do it for us idk.

I like the idea of mitts between skinner and Okposo...Berglund centering third line

This works too. Elie isn’t going to light the world on fire and Thompson is not doing anything for me right now.

elie's a fourth liner...Thomson showed some nice stick handling today but hasn't done much in his three nhl games so far....

nylander-berglund-sobotka has a nice look to it even though I don't think sobotka should be a full-time third-liner

Yeah that’s the problem. If you’re not going to break up the 28 71 29 line then it’s either sobotka or Elie in that spot. I don’t think that’s utilizing 37’s skill set very well. It will be interesting going forward.

Don't sell elie short, a grinder with just a little finish can fit higher in the line up quite well. The top 6 of this team is still very soft.

That looked to be a nice "pair," to use Disco's terminology.

They're basically able to roll four lines right now, even without Nylander, though. I'm loving this

dare I say, we could use some ol help???

The New York Giants will release offensive tackle Ereck Flowers if he is not traded by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

A trade might be unlikely, as any team acquiring Flowers would inherit the $1,692,368 he is owed for the rest of the season.

We need all the help we can get on the O line while we are at it, call the Seahawks and get Marshall.
