Never said that. I said that the odds were against him doing it based on the history of no other player in his position leaving their original team the way he did. I never said it was impossible, I said it was highly unlikely. There's a big difference.

Uh, yeah you did. In fact you went on how Nashville was a realistic destination and they didn't even get a. Interview

Once upon a time, everybody here thought the Kessel deal was wicked amazing awesome, that fighting for 8th place was totally the right thing to do and tanking was the worst thing to do. And here we are today with the Leafs finally having tanked, drafted high and doing things exactly like I said they should and everybody pretending like they were saying it all along.

So no, I don't give a poop that you're disagreeing with me.

- Unholy_Goalie

Not everyone thought Kessel was awesome. Many many did, but not everyone. I'd say an 80-20 split. But after many debacles, culminating in your Tavares swing and a miss (being very polite), you're banging on (as is your m.o.) about Karlsson (for 1 year) to the Leafs and not one single person has thought a) it was a likely scenario and/or b) is the answer to the Leafs needs.

For the sake or all of us (and these threads), please, please, I implore you to move on.

And for the love of all that is holy, please don't replace this with months on end of Dougie Hamilton.

Manson would be good too. I don't think it would cost us Nylander either.
Maybe, Manson for Brown, Leivo and Bracco. Good young players that the Ducks can have cost control over

- PatC80

Think they would want Nylander, but likely be a couple players... likely they would want a controllable player and maybe a dman to have something to slot in and take less of a hit with Manson.

Maybe they toss another player in like a two for 3 player deal or something...

totally spitballing but Manson and Silvferberg for Nylander, Holl/Marincin/Borgman, and say Leivo???

Wasn't totally sure on the people involved but more just a spitball of maybe this works as a straight up hockey trade and solves the problem. Nylander is going to just hold out again and again too even if it is a bridge deal for a couple years, and we need to fix the defence something fierce.

Nylanders lucky I'm not the Gm. The offer starts at 6.5x8. You have one week to decide and every week after that it goes down 500k untill December and then you sit till next year. Oh by the way, negotiations start at 5.5 next year. See where I'm going son.

How many believe that leafs nhl hockey is considered entertainment and excitement?
I say it is. Look at some players and ask yourself do they bring level of excitement are they entertaining?

Johnson
No-he’ll get better though
Eniss
Nope

Brown
Nope

Hyman
When he’s on his game yes

Kapenan
To a degree yes—his speed

Nylander
Yes in O zone
Defense needs improvement

Tavares and Matthews
Huge yes

I’m just saying nylander will get better and he is entertaining!
Q: would William Nylander still have gotten 60pkints with bozak or Kadri as his center??
What I’m wondering is it Matthews nylander can thank for his 60 points and huge8 contract demands? Hi

I think it would as a straight up hockey deal. Manson would help us a lot. Pairing him with Rielly would be so nice
