Babcock on promoting Kapanen: "Kappy is another big body. We'd like him to decide he wants to play like Hyman, that's what we'd like him to decide to do. Get to the net, be on the inside all the time, bring it every single night. If he can do that, he can play a big part." - mykokes
Kapanen has a ceiling that comes close to Nylander - we'll all see this year. |

Remember when I said I think Kap was being overrated.. this is why.
He showed tonight he might be better than I'm expecting, but this is a big leap of faith.
I hope you're right. There is never such thing as too much talent. But I really can't see him producing anywhere near Nylanders level. |

Fack. Is McBackup or Pixkard back on waivers yet?!?! The bloody entire American Naval Fleet could sail unopposed through Spark’s 5 hole. Attrocious. |

Way too much for that walking hair salon ad. If thats his number trade him for a d in that price range to fix what is broken the most, our defence!! |

Never a fan of the Gauthier/Biggs picks. When the best thing they can say for a guy projected to go in the first round is that they’re a lock for a 3rd/4th line role... odds are they won’t even manage that. It’s the prospect kiss of death. - Feeling Glucky?
My favourite one is "Good hockey sense, but needs to work on his skating"
Um, yeah
Bust.

He’d be fighting with Marincin for the 6th spot.
He’s really bad, man.
He’s 2017/2018 Zaitsev, but with easier matchups. - Feeling Glucky?
Ya again
So are most our D.

Kap was always rated higher then Nylander all the way up untill the draft. I'm not saying Kaps better I just believe that Nylander got the better opportunities because he was actually a drafted prospect and not a trade byproduct. Which it should be imo. |

Check out Matthews with all his over the top celebrations lol. Whats with all these wrist flicks and hands to the ears and all that crap hes doing this year? Are you Hulk Hogan now? He really is American hey just like Kaner. Wont catch Cros or McD or any canadian boy celebrating like goofs like that. Take a note from Johnny T with his hatty, act like you've been there before. |

I cannot wait for Nylander to be on this roster.
The lines are good right now. But holy. Different options - you could have him play C , moves Kadri up and makes the line even deadlier.
#12 Patrick Marleau – #34 Auston Matthews – #28 Connor Brown
#43 Nazem Kadri – #91 John Tavares – #16 Mitch Marner
#18 Andreas Johnsson – #24 William Nylander – #63 Kasperi Kapanen
#32 Josh Leivo – #26 Par Lindholm – #11 Zach Hyman |

Did you see Matthews smiling when Kane did it seconds after?
Yeah, that is because him and Kane are friends. That is what it was all about. If you don't understand something, you shouldn't comment. |

geeze, they definitely have enough offense.
Just need a defenseman who isn't comatose and a goalie who can stop a puck.
