You'll find this hilarious, but this is probably the best proposal we've been offered from a fan of another team.

Gardiner gets you a late first from a contender at the deadline so thats basically Nylander for sanheim straight up.

Don't get me wrong. It's (frank)ing awful.

It's just the least (frank)ing awful deal that has been proposed

I'm a Flyers fan living in Toronto right now so I constantly hear how you Leafs guys hate Gardiner when I'm at work so I figure getting rid of him would be something most of you welcome in the right scenario. Sanheim is the typical young d-man with tons of upside you guys are looking for if you are trading Nylander. And the 1st is thrown in to offset the fact Nylander and Gardiner are both more established players. I feel like this would be pretty fair considering Nylander isn't signed to an extension of any type.

Member last year when Nucks fans thought Marner and a 1st was fair for Joffrey Tanev?

What competent hockey player turns the puck over like this? Nylander + Gardiner + 1st for Ekblad please.

Good news is that Zaitsev has been quietly effective this year so far.

Provorov scored 17 goals last year on defence playing on the 2nd PP unit. You are overating Nylander with that one buddy haha

let's take the "Hockey Insider" approach to this...

according to Button, LeBrun and Dreger Nylander should be getting 8M all day long...

even though Pastrnak gets what 6.6...

would Boston trade Pastrnak for a 1st and Sanheim?

there is NOT a good match with Philly in any case... there's no youngish top end D man that the Flyers would give up for Nylander - Flyers top 6 is pretty set

I feel the Leafs could get more for Nylander than Sanheim if they asked around the league

See above post. Nylander is worth more than sanheim. Gardiner is worth a late first. You need to keeping adding.
