It can’t get much lower, no goals in 2 games, coming off a serious injury. Boeser to Tampa for a 3rd? Or to TO for a 4th.

I'd like to thank whoever harvested my lamb leg.

I’d like to punch whoever decided Pinot Gris was a good idea. I’ve been knee deep in it for a week.

That sounds good. We do the more traditional feast. Mashed potatoes and turkey, stuffing yada yada. Meatballs.

Hahahah, I love Pinot Gris! Your suffering is everyone else’s gain. Thank you for your sacrifice, it has not gone unnoticed.

I like it too, just not so much right now. Over 30 percent of our production is Gris and the fruit all comes in within a week, so it’s crazy days.

Traditional?

Turkey (over cooked), roast beets, turnip, carrot, sweet potato, cranberry, pumpkin bread, salad, a bottle of Chateauneuf-du-pape.

Apple pie and cranberry cobbler for dessert.

Seems like harvest is a little late no? At least for the aromatic/semi-aromatic whites.

We always pick later than most but August was super Smokey and September had the fewest growing degree days since they started recording them, so everything is behind this year.

We’re playing chicken with Mother Nature, trying to let the fruit hang as long as possible before a overnight frost wipes out the crop.

Hopefully turns out to be the best tasting crop you've ever had!

How do the next season’s prospects look? Developing nicely?

Could be. So far all of the fruit coming in has been excellent, as long as we don’t fck it up in the cellar.

We’ve just started our white and rose ferments, but we still have 50% of our crop on the vine, including all the reds. If the weather cooperates the 2018 vintage should be good. A little acidic maybe.

I think he was making a (bad) Canuck style joke, talking about future prospects. Like, how are the buds playing? Are the new plantings playing first line minutes?

I know. I’m too tired to try and be clever. Plus they’ve only played 2 games in Utica.
