Exactly. These are really young teams, and I dunno what Green is preaching, but Brind'amour is telling his guys to get after it and err on the side of aggression.
They're young and going to make mistakes regardless, so just make sure the effort is there first and fix the stuff after. |

Green is preaching hard work for sure...just a question on whether he gets it consistently.
We'll really see what the work ethic is like once we face a little losing streak and injuries...that's probably coming sooner rather than later. |

are we benchmarking prospects based on their first AHL season or after 2 games? How can I predict his totals based on the fact that he hasn't played yet, and in the end, who cares? We can hope for a fast start, but its always an adjustment. Brock sat out 2 games, could you imagine if we sent him to the AHL based off that. Lind was pointless in his first 5 AHL games, same thing? Its 2 games, we shouldn't have to make drastic decisions based off of such small samples sizes when it comes to prospects imo. He will draw in when the opportunities arrises and we can all hope he makes the best of it. |
