Ennis has some nifty mitts but God does he ever get thrown around like a ragdoll. He can't protect the puck and is eventually gonna get hurt again along the boards.

It's been two games and yesterday I'll go ahead and say our biggest problem was Andersen. If he played even average, we would have won.
The D as a whole played meh but that was just like all last season and we did pretty damn good then.
I'm not worried about a single thing this season. Not yet anyway.

Nah. Leafs need to sign him to a bridge deal, that's all.

When we used to win the October Cup every year, we were told "Good teams don't get going till December". We won't get going for another 7 weeks.

Still a couple of years away. The media really did a number on this fan base (majority) over the summer.

Why would you be worried? Should the Pens be worried for losing 5-1 to the Habs? How about the Jets 5-1 to Dallas? It’s hockey and losing happens.

Hainsey looks like he needs to be sheltered and play the (frank) out of the PK.

Dermott will get better with maturity, and there will be a revolving bottom pairing for awhile. If Oz plays this bad for another 4/5 games then put Holl/Rosen/Borgman in and we're already better in that regard.
An upgrade would be nice, yeah, but I'm not going to say we're in dire need after 2 games.
We still have talent in the defensive pipeline too

Gardiner will be gone at some point. I'm still not sure if that will be a good thing or a bad thing.

I think Dermott makes the jump to Rielly’s Pairing by December. Let him ease into his sophomore year for now.

Well if ya lock everyone up long term on big deals there will be no room for improving the D 2 yrs down the road..U start fixing the D now and that means moving Willie..Gotta give something to get what ya need..
