Sparks vs Forsberg in net tonight?

Would like to see Sparks come accross the ice to fight Forsberg (Sparks is crazy enough to do so )

That's bold, but fortune favours the bold. Marner and JT are gonna run amok this year.

My thoughts exactly, I like picking line combos for hockey pools, if one gets a point, the other usually does as well.

Tavares isn't holding up his end of the deal though!!

I picked Marner as my second pick (I feel shame)

My team is really dependent on my defense and hoping Getzlaf remains healthy.

People from Saskatchewan are just like people from Newfoundland, about as smart as a can of beans.....just ask James Tanner
- LeftCoaster

It's because Saskatchewan IS all Newfies, slant-drilling for oil into Alberta.

Seriously though I could listen to Babs' Sask-Canadian accent guru speak all day.

Yeah I like line combos too. And if you watch Marner and look at his numbers in the second half, and that he is with JT and on that stacked PP unit, he seriously could justify that pick.

He wasn't noticeably bad, and made a great play on the goal. He made plays and was on the puck in the offensive zone, the line had some chances because of him. It's not like Matthews and Marleau were flawless out there, I think Ennis is filling in ok for now.

If you think he wasn't bad then I don't know what to say. Gave the puck away every time he touched it, falling down all the time. He was noticibly terrible.

What's the over/under on Babs getting fired? This coming offseason?

Dubnyk was my third pick, I've got a killer squad (not really I just wanted to say that)

Also he actually has more gross points but they got taxed. His take home points are higher in Florida.

Have to say it feels like the line combo's have poor chemistry.

If Matthews doesn't do everything, his line sucks... get rid of Ennis. Put Hyman back in that spot...

Put Marleau with Kadri

Put Kap with Tavares and Marnier

And someone tell Gardiner to get his head out of his ass. I can tell he's a new dad. Looks sleepy out there...

Anyone notice who's leading the NHL scoring race after two games?

1. Elias Pettersson, C VAN 2 3 2 5

Smith and Markstrom were trying really hard to lose that game.

I'm sure playing Mike Smith really helped Pettersson out

I'm glad they kept Goldobin. He's looking shifty and a good guy to have in a more sheltered role.

He's looking great.

I feel a bit stupid though. I took Broke Back Mountain Boeser with my 1st pick. Not sure if he's playing or not.

I think Nylander is watching Matthews and Marner and knows they are going to get paid more than him...

His ELC ended a year earlier than them so he has to suck it up and take the amount he is worth.

I don’t know how these negotiations are going...who knows maybe the Leafs are being the ass holes and offering 5 million.

I think this either ends up in a trade or a 5 year deal so Willie can get that 3rd contract sooner...like Malkin and Tavares.

5x5.85

Or trade him to Carolina
