That sounds like a good idea with kap with Tavares and marner.

Babcock likes a grinder on each line but I feel like Tavares does a lot of board work anyways, and renders hyman useless on that line.

They definitely had better chances. They had better chances against the Habs also, even if the balance of play favoured the Habs.

They faced very good goaltending. They actually seem a little snakebit to start the season. How many post to post saves have we seen against already?

... and the defense looks completely and utterly lost, except I thought Dermott looked good again tonight. Marner needs to be a little more careful in his own end, but man it is tough to criticize a guy who plays the way he does.
