Good thing we didn't get Josh Gordon either....

But we got another throwaway from the Dolphins on Defense, can he catch passes at WR ?

"Matthews can provide a team with a reliable receiving option that can play in the slot while also being a deep-ball threat. It may just be a matter of time before he finds his next landing spot in the league."

Why the Bills won’t add Matthews

According to Jason Wolf of The Buffalo News and formerly of The Tennesseean, Matthews does not have a great relationship with his former offensive coordinator, Terry Robiskie. Robiskie is the Bills’ wide receivers coach. (For clarity, Wolf had said earlier in the day that Robiskie was a reason they could add Matthews, so he must have received new information.)

I would stay far, far away from him, he's got major issues, but the Bills should be pretty desperate, and beggars shouldn't be choosers, but he's not a choir boy, so I doubt they sign him.

Is it wrong that I almost want them to lose the few first game so that Housley would get fired?

Also, what is up with all the Back hand passes, do the players get Compensation every time they make one, because if not I have no clue why they do it so much.

I wonder if they move on from Housley early if they make Steve Smith the Coach for the rest of the Season, maybe he can create an actual system and get the players to snap out of it. May also go with Taylor instead and just have someone else coach The Amerks.

If they stink in the first 10 games Botterill has to take a close look at Housley and what he is doing or not doing. Smith or Payne could certainly interim head coach this team for the balance of the season. Having said that I seriously doubt Botts has any issues with Housley at this point. I think he'll survive for the entire season regardless of what happens.

Weather it is game 1 or 82. EFFORT is not something that has to be taught as a part of any coaches "system". We were told how different this camp was from previous camps, how much harder the players work in practice????What the...When I hear stuff coming from people surrounding the team that the players did not exactly give maximum effort in practices last year, and you see the same thing spilling over into games? What the frack is the GM lookin at? You can throw your taco bars around all you want, but when you have a pansy ass coach who spends most of his time in games staring off into space chomping his gum, this is what you get. Buffalo has a young team that desperately needs a veteran coach to instill some grit and discipline into this lineup. I like Eichel as much as the next guy, but come on man, 10 million dollars for that? The fans are going to pound him into a quivering mess if this is what we get for that kind of money. You know what kid, you wanted this, it's your team now. Problem is, to this point, Eichel has been all talk and no action. You want the team to be better, speeches don't cut it Captain Jack..Lead by example and others will follow...

I think they sacrifice an assistant coach first. Hyatt or Payne has to be on thin ice.

I agree, not sure why people still complain about Lindys "boring style". It doesn't get any worse then the past few seasons.

Maybe scott arniel? James Patrick as an assistant?

Forgive my Ignorance but does anyone know if injured player's cap hit gets reduced so that they could bring up someone like Nylander and/or Pilut? I know we don't have enough Cap Space to just bring them up but can they be called up and play on an emergency basis or how I mentioned before?

I wonder if we should have grabbed one of torontos goalies and put Ullmark back in rochester? We’re kinda thin at goalie and haveing too many would also force some competition.
