Just like it's too early to write off Boston because they lost 1 game.

Forget about last night, Boston has a lot more concerns (And Tampa as well) than the media is claiming.
It is interesting hearing fans talk about non-stop Leaf hype, when Tampa and Boston
are considered by almost all the analysts as being far better than the Leafs.

Boston's 1st line does way too much of the scoring and 2 out of 3 of those forwards on that line are approaching an age where they are getting past-their-primes and Chara is 41.

Tampa's goalie looked rather "Meh" after an amazing start and Ryan MCDonugh hasn't looked good for Tampa and looks slow. Stamkos also looked gassed after a fantastic start.

These are ignored and the Leafs faults are focused on so much.

I picked Florida to be ahead of Boston before last night. I like the Panthers a lot.

Its one game, hes usually steady.

Hainsey looked bad, Rielly was mostly invisible, Gardiner might have been a healthy scratch, Oz looked lost at times, Dermott looked like a guy coming off an injury and Zaitsev may or may not have been playing.

Why is Tyler Ennis, who couldn't crack a non playoff team last year and was brought in as a tryout getting more ice-time than Matthews and Tavares?
Kapanen looked great in very little ice-time. When will this kid get to actually play?
Dermott looked really good and had little ice-time.

He's looking like he lost a step.....which is ok...he's old...but he can't be pinching at the red line thinking he can turn and keep up to the guy when he misses.

He's gotta be the most positional guy in the league if he wants to continue playing

Yeah, and I want a 4th line that can cycle, so he'd be a good fit down there. I know it's old school, but sometimes you need a lunchpail line to eat up some minutes and break momentum.

Kapanen's got the speed to get in their quickly, but I don't know if he has the strength down low to sustain anything. He's still young though, keep forgetting that half the team is really young and will only get stronger.

I love how they talk up the forwards (Zack Smith is their 2nd line C), but forget that unless Chabot is literally prime Karlsson, their defense is the worst in the NHL by a wide margin. They have (frank)ing Boro in the 6.
