It doesn't make sense that they can go after his signing bonus but it depends on the language on the CBA and might be something they could fight. His salary should be the only part he loses which would be 25% of 1.1 million.

According to who though, what's the source? Because how could they go back and take money back from him that he's already been paid? The reason he misses out on 25% of his salary is because he's missing games, the only money he should be losing is that money from his salary that he gets paid to play games. That's why a signing bonus is a signing bonus and the salary is the salary. At least, that's the way it should be. If he has to give up his signing bonus money, the CBA is a little unfair in that regard and it boils down to the wording of the CBA so that's why I'm asking, where in the CBA or what source has found the wording that confirms this?
