You’re right. He was more than solid. It could have been a very different game. It’s games like this that I really love being proved wrong.

Was the difference in the first where Calgary had some quality chances.

Just turned off SN . They couldn't wait to break into Leaf talk . We did get 30 seconds of air time after the game so I shouldn't complain

For 10 mins to produce some nice passes and defensive plays and get a goal an an assist

Plus a majority of that ice time came from one shift in the 3rd where he iced it, and he was on the ice for 1:30

Love that they have him playing C too. He could be the #1C by next year.

He always sucks against us

Flames should’ve got Grubauer, they can’t rely on old ass Smith for 55-60 games

Well it looks like the kids will play well at home this year knowing they can go home to their gaming systems.

Agreed! I'm very impressed he's been able to do it. He looks weak, I'm not going to sugar coat it. But positionally sounds and his speed/stick look very good. Some great passes, easily could have been a 3 point night. Him and Goldy seem to have a bit of a thing going

His skating, IQ and length helps him big time. He’s gonna make this season worth watching like Boeser last year.

If he has a good game but the team loses 4-2, I don’t think people will be too upset

He and Goldy definitely have chemistry

I wonder if he'll get Calder votes for reviving LE's career.
