I wouldnt mind seeing Holl, in if anyone in the top 6 get hurt or struggle/slump.

It's pretty stupid that they have Brown and Kapanen, ready, willing and able and (frank)ing Tyler Ennis is the one playing RW with Matthews. I'm sure Ennis will score a few because of Matthews but holy (frank) can they just put good players with him for (frank) sakes?

Depending on the match-up, they can go back and forth. Kapanen's speed and Brown's defensive responsibility give them two perfectly good RW to play with Matthews.

I'm starting to think Ennis is going to be Babcock's new pet, like Komarov, whom he trusts way too much for reasons nobody understands but him.

They may be friends, but not at that price. Tavares already costs 11 million per year, the last thing they need is another 3+ million tag along friend to come with it.

I think Babs was saying something about mac having kids in school in Toronto and liking the city. I think they were trying to send him through waivers instead of trading him so he could stay in the city.

They could have also kept him and waived marincin or the goat and then tried to sneak him down in 2-3 weeks when those other teams had their backups back healthy.

I liked Ennis in the pre season.

To me he was better than Brown and has earned the start. If he faulters by all means switch him but he has been good

I was hoping for Nash on a one year deal tbh but I guess hes still having issues with post concussions.

I think his stubbornness gets mistaken for an opinion...he won’t think the same as you and just because he thinks player x is better and deserves a longer leash does not mean he is stubborn.

I’m sure you have players you would give longer leashes to, or would play more than others, higher in the lineup, ect.
