Philly won't carry 3 goalies when Neuvirth/Elliot are both healthy.

Assuming Andersen/Sparks are both healthy for a few months. We could see one or both guys back before it's ever an issue.

the good ol halak ryder and a 2nd for any elite player days.

I say meh to it. More cap space now and 2 extra roster spots. Theres lots of back ups out there and still some ufa's lookin for contracts. Its not a big deal IMO

They've just cleared 3 mil cap space in the last 2 days.

Should be a fun deadline.

All three would have been buried in the AHL - with the first approx $1 milly of each salary not counting against cap.

So we probably saved around $600,000 (I haven’t bothered to actually look at the salaries).
