I don't care about the goalie situation. It will work itself out. None of the guys they have available are going to sway the needle one way or another much until Hart nails down the position. One or two of the ones they have will have to step up until then. I liked Stolarz's upside and still do. The long term solution is as obvious as it gets though.

The only thing that still bothers me (besides the hole at defense that will be open until Myers fills it) is Lehtera over Weal. Hopefully it changes soon. IMO Weal played better and has more to offer. 21-40-12 was a pretty ideal 4th line to start the year. Rolls tho. Either way it is still a massively improved forward group over the last few years

Good point. The PK will absolutely be what holds this team back. It has been the biggest concern for 3 years now that I am almost numb to talking about it. THIS will be the year doing the same thing brings a different result, right?!?!

completely agree...this is a huge step back in his development IMO

As for the previous mentioned 3 goalies 2 nets issue there is an easy solution. Elliott has his net, the other two share. And on game days he's not playing you let the other two take both nets and give Elliott a maintenance day.

Give him 89 instead, he'll tie for the lead league in goals, go into relative obscurity 3 years later, bounce back for a 40-goal season, and then fade back into obscurity. If a former Russian 5th rounder can do it, I see no reason why a Russian 4th rounder can't.
