I agree about the Panthers. They will be a huge surprise and make the playoffs. But Toronto will still be ahead of them imo. They will pass Boston for 3rd.

The Maple Leafs, Oilers and Penguins are all at another level when it comes to scoring,

Huh? Why are the Oilers grouped in there? They have zero scoring depth and rely and one generational star. The Leafs and Penguins have so much more depth and firepower. The Oilers badly need more scoring.

would have Boston at #2. that's a good team.
we seem to do this every year with overrating Florida. they're a wild card contender at best.
Buffalo will be a bit better but still generally terrible and out of the race by Thanksgiving along with Detroit, Ottawa and probably Montreal.
