It was reported multiple times, from multiple sources. You’ve just elected to ignore it because it doesn’t fit your narrative, and because you likely haven’t figured out how to sign up for twitter

Just so you know, my narrative is usually 100% accurate because I play hockey three times a week with ex-NHL players, coached, attend a lot of charity events, and am up in the Muskokas and golf with them and their agents. They usually know what's really happening instead of relying on ...and its hard to say this without laughing....Twitter. My track record has been excellent.....Tavares, Seguin, Enstrom. He was never offered anything even worth considering....all lowball stuff. Its a fact. Get over it.

So - - - did I see today that Chariot and Morrow are the two starting LHD and Kuli has the seat in the presser ?

Of course, Morrissey is #1 LHD

And Jets are keeping Dano & Lemiuex up whilst Petan is on bereavement

And yes, ALL of this can change

I will be surprised if Dano doesn't ask for a trade. I would hate to think that he is content to be the extra forward again.

Maurice is so incredibly stupid. He keeps insisting on using the same players (except for Hendricks) that were in the top 1/3 of the league for penalty killing.
- bennythehat

Tanev is the 2nd worst penalty killer in the entire NHL. That’s compared to anyone on any team in any season since 2012.

We’re also just supposed to ignore the PL running a neat 72%~ from March on?

Everyone including Chevy knew there was risk to the Kulikov contract, this is the year we find out if it works out. He should be more settled, confident and hopefully healthy beyond just well enough to play.

The few guys that post on twitter such as Dreger, Freidman, and Mckenzie that are actually credible are widely distributed the same day, same hour, across the hockey world. Otherwise a complete waste of time. I've seen it many times in the real world, players clam up the minute a reporter is around.

I'll give an example of a story no reporter got a hold of because it's somewhat embarrassing to Dallas , but is somewhat interesting to Jets fans so I'll tell it. We are playing Dallas in game two. In pre-game warm-ups, there is that whole rock-paper-scissors last off the ice thing with Seguin and Scheif. Anyone wonder why Seguin stopped doing it , and just did the fake when getting off the ice ? Its because the previous times Dallas lost those games, so the players ( most hockey players are very superstitious) asked Tyler not to do it. So he just did the fake and Dallas still lost 7-1 ( or something like that). I'll be interested to see if Seguin now just does it anyway.

Rexy. Your just making a complete fool of yourself with statements such as this. Tanev is highly effective on the PK. His speed being the key. He pressures guys to the outside or to make quick plays which lead to turnovers. He also blocks a ton of shots . You can whine all you want but he will always be on that first PK unit because he is so effective.

Maybe if we hadn't played Enstrom in the playoffs we might have actually won the Cup. He was dreadful. Might have made the difference in those one-goal games where he was massacred.

Rexy - what I remember about the Kuli signing was we were in bad need of LHD depth ... we had signed Morrow during the season but LHD was not viewed as deep and the Jets were expecting Enstrom to ride into the sunset ... right or wrong - that was the thinking

I also remember most thinking the offer was rich ... as I'm older now - my memory could be faded a bit !

Sh_t happens ... we had also signed, before the start of the season, a goalie who we thought was gonna be our starter ... round about the same yearly $$, shorter term

Who knew that goalie had a soft noggin ... enter Habs - take the contract off our books and ya can have Armia w him

So now we have Kuli starting season in the presser for $4.3M per ... time is on Jets side for now ... if LHD strengthens without Kuli - "take the contract off our hands and you can have Dano" .... hahahahahhahaa ... had to do it

If Kuli improves - keep em for now

He allows more shots than anyone in the league. He blocks a ton of shots because he’s completely ineffective when it comes to preventing them.

I’d like to go back to the days when I loved Kulikov. Before he got all dumb and hitty, and I was still innocent and blissfully unaware of how terrible the GST line was

in fairness (because everyone on this board always uses fair judgement) Murat Ates writes for a credible publication.

That said the twitter piece you quoted does not pile on hate for Tanev, it says he is likely to be more effective with Lowry than he was with Hendricks. No one is going to argue with that.

Definitely more effective with Lowry.

As for the PK. Its funny how Rexy says it tanked starting in early March. This is the exact time that Hendricks got injured for the remainder of the season and could no longer support that unit. In the playoffs, PK and PP numbers get worse for the simple fact that you're playing the league's best teams and PP units.

I wish Hendricks well. He did a lot for the Jets . He made the third line on the Wild as well as a key role on the PK. I guess he's not as washed up as Rexy said he would be.

He allows more high danger scoring chances than almost anyone else, too. Worst among current Jets by a mile

He was horrendous. Still is. Has been for some time.

The drop had nothing to do with Hendricks, and a lot to do with Hellebuyck’s insane PK stamina ending

Can we talk about Laine clowning Horvat and the Canucks?

God I love Patrik Laine. He just ended their entire season.

Seems like Patrik Laine is leading the Fortnite argument. Some heavy disses against the Canucks and Virtanen. Funny stuff.
