Gads looks like he needs to improve his skating but his skill set looks to be ok. Big body with some meaness sorely needed.
Projected to be in Utica for 2 years.

Dahlen has the skills but found the jump to the NHL is hard & was wise to play in Sweden last year. Utica will serve him well.
Projected to push hard for a spot next year.

Lind is intriguing & a well rounded skill set. Finding an identity in the AHL & gain confidence & be a scoring grit winger is his ticket to the bigs. Any other aspects he can add will only make him a diamond in the rough & a fan favourite.
Projected to push for a 2020 roster spot.

Palmu is a fireplug fire hydrant & will entertain the Utica faithful. He’s a darkhorse with big potential possibly.
Projected as a call up in 2019-20.

Gaudette will fine tune his game further & develop his scoring with big minutes in the AHL. Kid has moxy & driven to improve in the mold of Bo.
Projected to be on the team next year & also a call up if any C’s get injured.

Hughes a lock to be on the team.

Demko got a taste of the NHL & has to play lights out in Utica this season. He is trending very well & needs to get help from our other prospects to get even better.
Projected as our starter in 2020.

As for any others i’ve omitted they know they are up against stiff competition & need to rise up the ranks. D prospects need to fight for a top 4 spot in the NHL to be considered a success. Utica will be a great opportunity they will need to seize & dominate along the way.
