I think he will follow the money, and go to the highest bidder. He will be perfectly willing to walk. He doesn't strike me as a real emotional team guy.
Marner would be more difficult to sign away. I think a team would have to go way out of market to get him to sign. |

Mcbackup likely doesn’t get picked up...which is probably what he wants. Stay on the Marlies and play on the Leafs if Sparks faulters. He has a family and probably wants to either stay in TO or retire and at least the Marlies give him that.
Pickard will...a team should take a flyer on him. But also it’s tough for teams to pick up a player because he has to be on the roster.
