He wasn't really at his best the first 4 games, part of the reason they were down 3-1 and his game 7 performance wasn't the best either. So for the majority of the series, yeah, he wasn't as good as he usually is. Nothing anyone here has said disproves that.

Haha yeah, I was just joking around, Andersen definitely didnt have a great game/series, could have been fatigue, could have been experience, could have been the team not being ready. I'm hoping he plays less this year so he's ready for sure, but the team will also be more experienced come playoff time.

Fatigue possibly made him inconsistent. He started weak and ended weak in game 7. Doesn't mean he was useless the entire time, just not capable of doing it the whole time.

Nope. They had little chance of beating Boston and Tampa Bay last year. They let valuable UFAs walk for nothing, they had internal, younger, better replacements who would have benefited from the extra ice-time (and played better anyway) and the playoff spot was already guaranteed. This was a lot of words with little substance.

His usual shooting % should have (not should of ) put up about 5 goals. If he had he would have been hailed as the hero he is instead of this narrative that he didn’t play well, and the leafs would have won a series they almost won anyway despite taking the first two games off. Having said that he didn’t quite seem to be playing as well as he does usually, and didn’t after his injury, so I’d cut him some slack on that front.
