I think if CK20 has the year many of us expect and he is around after the season - not saying he won’t be - he will be the next captain. Gut feeling.

Agreed. Kreider seemed to be flying after he came back. A full year of healthy CK should prove he is C material. I was impressed with the way he handled interviews after the TDL.
Staal gets the A out of respect and seniority.
