predicting a last place finish draws out that group with their torches and pitchforks. I avoid it all and just say bottom 3 from now on

Last place, last place, last place.
Worst Canucks season on record. 2 wins in October.
Last place finish.

As long as they pick first overall, I don’t care where they finish the season.... but it will definitely be less than or equal to 30th

Put down the pom poms. They will be last. 31st.

You always seem so happy about how awful the team is

The pom pom group doesn't care what the other group says. We made claims about a last place finish last season and were wrong.

Nope - just wondering why you're so happy with failure?

no need to get testy brooksy. No one here is happy with failure. I think I can speak on behalf of Marwood and his post history that he doesn't enjoy watching the Canucks in shambles. No one here does. Anyone who predicts a bottom finish isn't exactly thrilled with it...

Not getting testy Codesy. Just asking the dude an honest question. Don't care about feelings and all that pom pom horsesh&t.

I don't know where I said I was happy about it?
I'm just being realistic, every decade this team finds itself at the bottom of the league and here they are again. They will get out of it but how quickly they get out of it depends on when there is a management change.

as much as I don't know anyone here in person, I would wager that there isn't a single person who is happy about the state of the Canucks, or the past 6 or 7 years. Pom Pom and Whiner groups aside, it's just being able to realize that its easier to have low expectations and be pleasantly surprised, than to be optimistic in predictions and being let down again and again and again. Not trying to speak on behalf of anyone here, but I would imagine its the same mindset from most of us here.

I know you didn't use happy -maybe it wasn't the right word - I just get the vibe day in day out that you're "ok" with the losing - anyways, thanks for an honest answer

wasn't trying to pick a fight either

I would be absolutely thrilled with a bottom finish instead of the team playing above it's head and giving the impression that they're closer than they really are.

As an added bonus, it should translate to better draft position.

Isn't this exactly what a rebuild is supposed to be? Losing. I don't know why Canucks fans would whine so much about what they wanted so bad.

Yah! Better draft position, and developing of players.
