I am glad they put Brock with EP . It always made sense to have your best shooter with your best play maker.
I like Gudbrandson toughness this year . Stecher and Hutton are getting better.
They will get their sh1t together but it is going to take time.
As much as everyone hates Goldobin , he has three of the teams 10 goals this year. - VANTEL
Very nice observations ๐
On Brock i agree unless he & Bo & Sven get back their chemistry otherwise a new winger for Bo wouldnโt hurt. An energy puck retriever puck battling type maybe. |

Even if Bo and BB get their chemistry back I still want my best shooter with my best play maker .
If you are not getting Hughes at the draft next year find Bo a top winger |

We don't hate Goldobin, we hate how TG won't let him play hockey. |

I get it but we need some balanced scoring. In game some double shifts would be what Iโd do. Bo & Sven are a dcent duo & idk yet who meshes with them. |

Goldy is looking better just needs to bring it a lil more often IMO
Iโd like to see him featured more on the PP. |

Does he? Should he throw a few more hits during the game? |

Not so much the hits but definitely get his nose in there & show some battling for pucks. Dog the puck like he is possessed with his skating ability. Put some blue collar into his game. |

How can you say you need to spread out the scoring to a team that has no scoring |

he's easily one of the most skilled guys on the team, take off the choke leash and give the kid some time - Brooks_Light
I'd like him to play offence. Instead they are asking him to be a blue collar two way forward. Some players just don't play that game. Nobody ever asked Vanek to be a two way forward. Play Goldobin with Pettersson who is defensively responsible and is able to get the puck out from behind his own net.
I'd honestly thought Bo was an "ok" defensive forward. I'm now realizing, he hardly ever comes below the hash marks to get pucks. Bo is the center that needs stronger wingers that better on the boards. |

When Goldy has Vanekโs resume i will agree.
I doubt it that TG is expecting him to be a 2-way blue collar player.
More like hustle & bust his ass more often instead of disappearing.
If Brock can do it so can he with bis skating ability. |

If a team has 250 goals a year , yes spread out the scoring . If a team has troubles scoring 100 goals then you stack them any way you can to score.
This D thing is tiresome IMO ( not directed at you)
We have the perfect roster to get a high pick maybe first over all. Edler MDZ Pouliot and Hutton all have expiring contracts and Hughes and OJ should be ready next year. Biega only makes 825 K so he can be easily sent down .
They also have 36 mil next year in cap space and there are many decent UFA D . You can have a whole new look back there or a partial new look.
This is a skip it year go directly passed go and collect your 200 bucks |

Isn't that what Sutter and Jim said . We went out and got these UFAs so the top 6 can go out and score. |

Goldobin last year had 17 G 45 pts in 68 games between the Comets and Canucks . That is decent numbers . On a team struggling to score you need to give him a chance until you have a better replacement. |

I do bemoan more than anyone our Dโs lack of offence.
Yes i direct it at me ๐๐
All of the rest i agree with & the cap space is easily lost on us when we go through this pain. It will be a major weapon when the timing is right.
Cue the JB roasters... |

I seen a lot of scoring chances this preseason by Goldy BB Bo EP Sven. Eventually they will start going in.

Different players play different ways, find the right chemistry and don't ask them all to play the exact same way.
Needs scoring and I'd rather Goldobin hang out closer to the blue line and get scoring chances then him having to play down in his own corner and then being late to get to the point and being benched for that too. |

I will be really pissed if the D looks the same next year. This year I think it is perfect for the cause |

Idk why he would be in his corner. If he is then he better win the puck battles. The D can handle the corners 1 on 1. |
