To further add to that...
Let the cup winning players take turns at all 14 spins of the wheel. |

Something to throw out there...
Bring back the wheel ala the Perrault Tallon draft days.
Spin it on TV with more spots for lower ranked teams as to be equal to the current odds. Screw the behind the scene crap. Roulette. - Nighthawk
Too bad Maggie the Monkey died a few years ago. Don't see this working with Fin.

Watching a replay of the game. Not a lot of chemistry & why i’m not a huge fan of these line-ups especially earlier games. I know it’s preseason & it’s to see who will make the team but in our case i would do it different. After 2-3 games it’s onto setting lines & D pairings given where we are at in this rebuild. It’s more important to set the goal posts early & go from there. Just my overview of it all. I probably am wrong but heh it won’t be the 1st time 😅
I have noticed Edler has been stumbling alot on the transition. Speed of the game or his turns are becoming very visible. It’s not age but lead feet more so i believe. |

If Melnyk wants to save $1.25m & Dorion is told to then yes.
Personally i think they want to save more money but are dreaming. |

Andrew Hammond, Michael Hutchinson, Al Montoya all went through waivers. Entertaining the idea seemed fun but doesn't seem as if JB and co. wants a different goalie. Unless JB is waiting for Sparks? |

Bobby Ryan would help Bo and others more then Loui because at least BR can still put the puck in the back of the net. |

I don’t see why not take Sparks. Can waive Nilsson to Utica. |

He always could score but he has Salo disease when it comes to injuries.
Freak injuries are incredibly often. |

Luka Burzan had 5 goals and an assist last night in Brandon's 8-4 win over Lethbridge.
Cozen's 1g 2a and did not play center. |

These seem to be used better for ranking prospects.
Little disappointed that they have Brisebois, Madden, Lockwood three 3rd round picks in tier 5.
Brassard and Utunen in tier 4 baffles me. Brassard reminds me of Carl Neill who is now in his 2nd second in University hockey. |

In a separate story, Powers (subscription required) interviewed three NHL scouts about individual players on the Chicago Blackhawks and while there are many interesting comments about different players, two scouts had nothing nice to say about Chicago winger Brandon Saad. “When he’s not playing with top guys, he doesn’t respect who he’s playing and he’s selfish,” a scout said. “He’ll try to carry it himself instead of moving the puck. When he gets frustrated, he shows it with his body language. They have to recognize that and have a talk with him. Whether they put him with one of the big guys, he’s got to have a better attitude.” A second scout was equally unimpressed. “I think Saad is a guy who plays for a contract. I’m not convinced that he’s a guy who plays for you every night.” |

I am glad they put Brock with EP . It always made sense to have your best shooter with your best play maker.
I like Gudbrandson toughness this year . Stecher and Hutton are getting better.
They will get their sh1t together but it is going to take time.
As much as everyone hates Goldobin , he has three of the teams 10 goals this year. |

Many draft picks go unsigned due to not enough roster spots. The later they are picked the less chance of a contract. They have a year to prove it & training camps. |
