And let's face it, Pegula is not the most patient man in the world either. He's paying how many coaches and players not to coach or play for his teams?

It remains to be seen if McDermott is a good coach or not, but he's not stupid, he knows the score. He's got this year as a gimmie, but if he doesn't win next year, he's out, better to get Allen's growing pains out of the way, especially since you have a historically bad QB as the only other option.

Are you ready to have an actual convo,
instead of just being a d!ck?!
Bc then fine... I’d love to

Half the reason not to play Allen is bc we don’t have sh!t around him
Did the Rams have Woods in Goff’s rookie year?
Did they have Cooks?
Did they have Kupp?

Do u even make ANY correlation at all?

Dude...
why is it so hard for u guys to see that Allen is just back there getting beat the f#ck up...
and NOT...
actually getting BETTER @ playing QB?!

Seriously...
i get that u guys were all pumped about the athletic plays he made last week
THEY WERE GREAT

But there weren’t plays that showed his progress as a QB
Just like there weren’t today

WE ARE GONNA RUIN THIS KID

No, i can’t prove it
It’s just my opinion

I’ll say it again...
ITS JUST MY OPINION

SORRY YOU GUYS ARE ALL BUTHURT LITTLE B!TCHES

Well that was entertaining reading.
Now at 1-4, 12 weeks to go with the constant back and forth of I told you so and mockery with every up and down.

Thursday can't come fast enough for me.

When I predicted 4-12 for the Bills durring the Preseason...this is where my head was and still is, Sal from GR captures it perfectly:

For many, this season has never been about wins and losses but rather the development of Allen, cleaning up the salary cap, and getting to 2019 when it looks like their window to make some real ground will really open up. If that’s where you stand on 2018 then things are right on schedule and you can just sit back and see how Allen and others handle themselves and progress between now and then.

The win over the Vikes sure was fun, but stunning at the same time.
Time to take some chill-pills, relax and realize the reality of the situation.
We can still root for them to win, but not go off the deep end when they lose

Bills are what they are. At best around 4-12. Next year there should be a lot of cap space and another draft to improve the team.

The Sabres, I expect them to be soooo much better this year. Playoffs? Not sure about that. I don't really expect them to make the playoffs. But there are usually one or two surprise teams each year, here is to hoping the Sabres are one of them.

A lot of people keep saying wait 'til 2019, where they'll have better cap space to make the necessary moves and start to build a better team. I have ZERO faith in Beane doing that - as most of his transactions have sucked. This is where I'm at with this team : We're doomed for the foreseeable future with no hope in site. Bring on the hockey season.

All 5 rookie 1st round QB’s have played already. 4 starting.

It’s week 4

- sbroads24

I cannot believe this is still going on.

Of the 5 1st round QB's the only one to not start a game yet is Jackson and he played week 1.

Either the kid has it or he doesn't.

Darnold is getting destroyed out there but just like the Bills, the Jets traded away someone who could play in the interim.

You think Reinhart wouldn't be a bust if he played on the OL

Players can benefit from sitting behind the right guy. Playing them too soon can delay their development. It won't kill it, not if they have what it takes in the first place.
- buffalofan19

That’s all I’m saying
Not that Allen is a joke
Just that he’d benefit from a slower development track

I get that Peterman sucks
But how good he is or isn’t has ZERO bearing on whether or not Allen SHOULD be in there

The single most important thing for the Bills is to develop Allen correctly
So that he turns out to be our Franchise QB
If that means we take our time & go 0-8 with Peterman...
then so be it
Because i care a hell of a lot more about the next 8 YEARS, than i do the next 8 weeks
