I was, and I sat back in my seat laughing both times. Those players are soooo impactful now that it hurts just talking about them

Cum guzzlers were out in full effect.....ASSET MANAGEMENT! ASSET MANAGEMENT!

Eat a bag of Richards.......

I hope someone claims Gaunce....his upside is "would you like fries with that?". Sucks harder than Stormy Daniels....

other than Paul Byron, who was just awarded a multi year contract by the habs recently, I can't recall the last waiver player to make a significant impact on a different team after getting claimed.

Most of the people upset by Volpatti were casuals/homers that blindly love local boys, probably the the same group of people that still thinks Virtanen will develop into a legit top 6 forward.

Corrado definitely did cause some freakouts.

I understand that some of you have some frustration built-up after watching this pre-season, but you may have to find another platform to make fun of freakouts

the only people it will affect are the plugs in the media. Botch/Pratt/Moj/Macintyre/Kuzma. Those muppets will spew the hysteria to the average fan and create a buzz about mismanagement and how benning is stupid and yada yada yada. I would hope that the educated folk who are in here, know not to make a big deal of this.

The paper/radio/blogger guys only add fuel to the fire to get people to listen/read, that's what they need to do to get people to pay attention. They love the homers/casuals that lose their minds everytime a scrub is waived or traded away.

I understand it is their job to attract listeners, get hits, bring traffic to their station, etc. I understand why they do it, but I can't say I respect it.

Agreed, but it's easier than doing the research and coming up with new and interesting topics/opinions to come up with everyday/every week.

doesn't help that most Canadian markets only care about hockey, at last the big American sports cities have multiple teams they can talk about and not beat a horse to death.
