I just don’t need to read fans dumping on the kid because he was never suited for a scoring role the NHL.

I see it more of a fault on amateur scouting not understanding or foreseeing where the club is or where it was going.

The team hasn't always taken that approach though and it's refreshing to see them having the patience to let these guys development in The AHL.

That said EP and Boeser in the NHL helps.

Gaunce was also drafted in an era when we had late draft picks if we had many at all. We also sucked at drafting back then. Like any team that trades away picks then compounds it with years of big misses gets us where we are now.

I hope that Gaudette, Dahlen, Demko, Palmu, OJ, CHatfield and everyone else down on the farm should stay there, play the entire year together and learn the game/become a team.

As for Goldy I really had high hopes he would come to camp and blow us away. The talent is there maybe he just needs a few more games with the same line mates to get comfortable and find a groove.

Agree & i trade Goldobin for another similar project or better if somehow possible. If he doesn’t come out of the gate flying it has to happen. Move on from players & give them a change of scenery.

I’m luke warm on gifs at the best of times. Trolling types can get very tedious. Its an art form if done well & entertaining but easier said than done. I’d rather talk hockey or hear ppl’s RL stuff if it adds to this blogs entertainment value.
