Your numbers on Sedins aren't wrong they had good possession figures at around 50% the problem was the other 50% of the time they were digging the puck out of the back of our net lol.

I'm just hoping that our 5/5 play improves post-Sedins and I think it can if healthy.

Corsi is a flawed stat, there's just way better data out there these days. There's stats measuring zone entries with possession for/against, shot quality, passing quality etc.


Looking at those stats as a whole shows that the Sedins play declined by a decent margin over the past 2 years. They really should have been used as PP specialists and limited at 5v5. But I don't blame Green for increasing their minutes since the rest of his roster was full of poop anyway, especially when Horvat got hurt and then Boeser went down.

Hopefully he is claimed so I never have to hear about him again. But he won’t be.
