Another team that should consider any of the Leafs goalies who hit waivers is Edmonton. Early days, but so far Mikko Koskinen looks like another fantastically expensive failure by Chiarelli. Sparks, McSavey, or Pickard would all be better options at this point. |

I don't get where people get these bad personality opinions from. Every time I've watched Sparks interviews he seems no different than anyone else. Unless I'm missing something, I don't know. - LeafGuy89
Everyone is missing something
We don’t know what the (frank) he’s like. It’s Laughable how fans think they know a players personalities and what they are like in the room. Watch them play hockey and let their friends, families and teammates figure out what type of guy they are like. Because we sure as (frank) will never know even though some will tell you on here they do |

Ffs apparently Sparks is a horrible human being because he’s a little different in interviews than the average hockey player
I can tell you this with no word of a lie...a close relative of mine was with Kadri for a bit not too long ago...and by bit I mean she kicked him to the curb once she realized he was engaged. Anywho he is a pretty horrible person and that’s as far as I’m willing to go.
What I’m getting at is by boring hockey interviews you do not get to know a guy. It’s all fake bull poop and part of their jobs to answer the same questions everyday. All we can do as fans is watch and judge a players skill set and laugh at the media for creaming their pants over who has a letter on the side of their jersey. |

I honestly wouldn't be shocked if a good number of people on here know of a connection to some current NHL players. From what I've heard, Kadri is kind of a piece of poop.
Hell, I went to school with Wayne Simmonds, at Birchmount. We had a few classes together.
He, along with a few other NHL players and a couple guys who played in the OHL, all get together every Summer at a buddy of mines place. |

Nice how you snuck in that last one.
I am not a former player and I know nothing at all about any NHL players' true personality other than the stuff I hear online or in interviews.
I try to be a proud disciple of Socrates. I am fully aware that I am grossly ignorant. |

That's a good thing because Socrates was most likely a child molester. - Unholy_Goalie
I'm not speaking of his sexual preferences, only his philosophy.
Although I would like to point out that it was actually a common and accepted practice back then for young boys to have relations with men. It's weird to us for sure, but I remember hearing about this in school years ago when I studied the Greeks in some Ancient civilizations class. So, while it's weird, understand that it was a different time and their whole society didn't see anything wrong with it.
It's like pointing out George Washington was a slave owner.
By our standards that makes both of them terrible people, but we are all a product of our upbringing.
Perhaps in a hundred or two hundred years everyone will be Vegans, and they'll look back at those of us that ate meat now as just as horrible as Socrates or George Washington. Savages with no feeling of compassion for other life. |
