I like Green but as far as I can tell from following Utica the past couple years he isn't an X's and O's guy. I remember Baertschi saying after we had acquired him that Green expected him to be responsible and once he proved he could do that, he was free to do what he wanted offensively.

Listen kid....I know you know pretty much SFA but Florida had 44 wins 96 points last year and missed the playoffs, St. Louis had 44 wins 94 points and missed the playoffs, that's not a good measure of "sucking".

I'm trying to be realistic with the kid, the Oilers were very lottery fortunate but in a couple years we'll be in a very similar boat as far as bad seasons in a row, again, when will the excuses stop?

Too bad our very own Nelson Skalbania traded Gretzky to the WHA Oilers. If he had 1/2 a brain the non expansion Oilers would be Coyotes North.

When we basically had to rebuild from the ground up & waiting for NMC’s & NTC’s to expire it causes a longer process.
