Tomas Tatar went for a 1st 2nd 3rd lol ANYTHING is now possible.

It was a good haul but a 26 year old 5 time 20 goal scorer is valuable especially when signed to a reasonable contract.

He obviously didn't fit in Vegas but if he had been the piece to put them over the top, the price isn't a big deal.

I am not burying my head in the sand. I am not even arguing you are wrong or right. I am just really amazed that you can make that prediction with such certainty when the regular season roster has not even played a game yet together.

Back to back night night down 1-0 and you declare the season is over. Now there's drama .

- VANTEL

Actually, if we're being honest, I predicted a really bad year before the preseason even began. That's how sure I was/am this is a terrible team. The preseason just confirmed my prediction.

I really wanted some excitement coming out of this camp. Something to pin my hopes to. But I'm developing the same ho-hum attitude as I have over the past 4 training camps.

EP, Brock, and Horvat are the only reasons I'm even watching. And to a lesser extent to see how the organization/coaching staff fairs post twins.

Strange, I was under the impression the only reason this team wasn't exciting was because of the Sedin's. Their subtraction was supposed to make us more exciting and more successful...

Team really needs a winger or two that doesn't skate by the net but will stop up and pot a goal. Like what Toffoli did last night.

It cost a 1st 2nd 3rd to OS a RFA up to $8.118m. Says Tatar is not & never was worth it.

Strange that I'm telling you this another time. Sedins were one of a few problems.

I mentioned this weeks ago, but I have a feeling it's going to take the coaching staff time to adjust to no twins. 20 minutes of the team's playbook was letting the twins play their cycle game. Not a lot of coaching going on.

Now the staff have a clean slate to work with. Going to be interesting to see what offensive schemes they come up with to fill the void.

Goaltending, defence, Sedins. Knew the Sedins would be the easiest thing to change. Goalies and D pretty much all had contracts for this season.

It’s the old story of playing better than the opponent but having no finish.

I would like to see Motte stay up, him and Beagle look good together.

Cross ice passes aren’t handled well & slow to shoot.
