Um..... you said the ones sucked for 7 and were sucked for 5.

The Oilers missed the show for 9 out of 10 years and were bottom 3 for over half of those years.

The canucks missed the show 4 out of 5 teams and were bottom 2 twice.....

One of those teams sucked the chrome off of a trailer hitch, the other team has a history of losing game 7s.

It's really about personal perception, I would agree the Oilers sucked in 2010 so tack a year onto my perception of seven years.

At the end of the day our Canucks are well on their way to repeating, imo, the Oilers bad years and we're making fun of them. What I'm saying is hold your tongue, we may not have their lottery luck but we are lined up to repeat what we are making fun of.

And I really hope for lottery luck because if you finish bottom 3-5 and get screwed by the lottery it just makes seeing Oilers, Leafs and Buffalo get 1st OV disheartening.

Buffalo finished dead last three times before they won the lotto, more times than Edmonton, just so happens Eichel was a great second prize, much like Pettersson was a great prize for our bottom finish.

I like various opinions but i prefer to start off with what the cup runs did to us. Sure many other things could of happened after then but i’m not going to berate all the facts. I continue to harp on D is our biggest challenge & takes a lot of time to fix.
