I think when Petan comes back he will be given every chance to play left wing with ros and ehlers.
It really doesn’t make a lot of sense to keep Vesalainen when his play won’t exceed the others enough yet and I think with all our contract issues it’s more important to wait till next year for his here year deal to start. I think he will get some games in but won’t hit ten.

I doubt it. Petan will sit until someone gets hurt.

Maurice had his mind made up on who he wanted in this year the moment last season ended.
Hence the Lemieux and Vesalainen getting chances with our top guys all over the top 6 (and on special teams), while Petan (in his limited time) and Dano were almost exclusively with AHLers, and low 5 on 5 minutes.
Same goes for Poolman and Niku getting stuck with ass players, unless they were put together, in which case they got no time at all. Niku got chances on the PP, and wrecked shop, but Maurice will wait for all of Chiarot, Morrow, and Myers to go down before he tries Niku with Buff.
