2Real you already know the answer, until the team gets a coach they will always be hit and miss. Flyers had a lot of regulars tonite and the Bruins had two and they lose the game. It is only exhibition but nothing seems to change. By the way how is Morgan Frost doing?? Schenn all set to build on another 70 point season in STL

I agree. He does a lot of things that I don't agree with, but I understand why he does most of what he does. Every now and then there's a head scratcher (the challenge vs. Nashville being a prime example). But generally, I get why he does what he does.

I think a good coach would have figured out a way for this roster to not be the 27th best team at scoring goals in the first period, and to not be the 28th best PK in the league. The roster may not have been great the past three years, but it was not bottom five, either.

Elliott is toast...and the wheels on the Flyers goaltending carousel go round and round. Same stuff, different year. Please trade him, Hexy. Now while you can get something for him. Then let Hart start. It's time.

Unless you trade for a starter, it is. I know their defense is average at best, but if you can platoon him with one of the other goalies (hopefully Neuvirth because even though he's injury prone, he's better than Elliott) at the start of the season, he might run away with the job. I want to see what Hart can do.

He might run away with the job or he could get shelled because they rushed him and destroy his confidence. I'd rather play Elliot and Stolarz/Lyon than see Hart in the NHL to start the season. There is literally zero need to rush Hart into the NHL, zero.
