They never had to waive Hagg. If you truly think he deserves to play, which is where I partly disagree then you can look at not having Mac or Gudas up here, but they are vets and will play no matter how many mistakes are made.

You can bet your ass that the first couple of rough games Sanheim has its going to be Folin inserted in there.

I would like you to tell me how it is less talented? Yes Myers played well. But again this is the preseason. He hasn't faced a full NHL lineup...just like Hart hasn't.

This doesn't seem to be as big of a deal as your making it.

I don't know what Sanheim is gonna do. We can all hope he plays well enough to not get scratched, first and foremost

I was really hoping that these moves would be accompanied by multi year extensions for Weise and lehtera.

I didn’t watch the game last night. Perhaps he was always getting sent down. Didn’t sound like he had an amazing run in these preseason games. It’s just a numbers/waiver game. They really want Folin to be #7 and I understand that. There will be injuries it’s the flyers

We need to see him play. I know they said he was going to before preseason was up but until he plays he is a question mark right now.

The mentality is just sad. Fascination with "safe" and veteran guys.

In all honesty did he blow you away? Myers played really well. He did also make some rookie mistakes that happen. But did he blow you away that made you think he needed to be here?

For me this move doesn't seem to be a big deal.

Unless they wanted to carry 8 dmen and only 13 forwards, keeping Myers up would mean waiving Folin, and I doubt Hextall wants to do that right away.

This. Myers may not start the season here, but it’s very likely that he will be here to stay before the season is over, and it probably will be soon.

It's not, but it's something new for some folks to gripe about.

I think Gudas could be moved. You have a direct replacement in Hagg who kind of brings that type of game.

Why is it one of Sanheim or Myers that have to sit? Mac and Gudas should not be these stone cold locks.
